Description
This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is a Daytona Yellow coupe that has been refurbished and modified under prior ownership and was acquired in February 2023. The car is powered by a 350ci big-block V8 fitted with an Edelbrock electronic fuel injection system and backed by a Tremec five-speed manual transmission with a custom driveshaft. It is finished in Daytona Yellow with black Z/28 stripes over black vinyl upholstery, and additional equipment includes power-assisted front disc brakes, a cowl-induction hood, Rally wheels, a replacement OEM-style Bluetooth stereo, and a Hurst shifter.
Exterior:
The body is finished in factory-correct Daytona Yellow with black Z/28 stripes and features a cowl-induction hood, front and rear spoilers, chrome bumpers, and Z/28 badging. The paint shows well with even gloss and panel fitment is consistent throughout. Brightwork appears in good condition and the car rides on 15″ Rally wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich tires.
Interior:
The cabin has been refreshed and features front bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl with matching door panels, carpets, and headliner. A replacement dash has been installed along with a factory-style stereo unit that adds Bluetooth connectivity while preserving an OEM appearance. The steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The Hurst shifter is mounted in the center console and controls a Tremec five-speed manual gearbox.
Drivetrain & Performance:
The original engine has been replaced with a 350ci big-block V8 equipped with an aggressive cam and an Edelbrock EFI system, replacing the aftermarket carburetor that was on the car when acquired. Power is routed through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission with a custom driveshaft and a 12-bolt rear end. The engine bay is cleanly presented with updated wiring and plumbing. The combination of the big-block V8 and the modern transmission delivers strong street performance while improving drivability and cruising capability.
Braking & Suspension:
Power-assisted front disc brakes have been recently replaced, and the suspension retains a mostly stock appearance. The car rides well and tracks straight, with responsive braking and confident handling for a classic muscle car.
Recent Service:
- Tremec 5-speed transmission
- Custom driveshaft
- Interior dash
- Bluetooth-compatible OEM-style stereo

Summary:
This Daytona Yellow Z/28 is a tastefully executed restomod blending iconic late-'60s styling with thoughtful modern updates. With its big-block power, five-speed gearbox, and driver-focused enhancements, it offers a compelling mix of presentation and street-ready performance.
